Job summary

Aspen Neuroscience, located in Torrey Pines, CA, is hiring an early-career Manufacturing Associate I to support clinical production in a GMP environment. The role involves cell culture, documentation, material handling, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams on a 12‑hour Pitman schedule starting in January 2027; relocation is not available.

Training will begin with a Monday–Friday schedule, transitioning to the 12‑hour shift, with day or second shift options.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in biology, chemistry, biotechnology or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech with mammalian cell culture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks for clinical cell therapy products in a GMP-controlled cleanroom.
• Execute cell culture activities including expansion, feeding, passaging, harvesting, counting, freezing, seeding, labeling.
• Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of automated cell culture systems.
• Participate in training and qualification activities including aseptic technique.
