Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or closely related quantitative field required by appointment.
• Strong training in statistical methodology and data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical programming in R, SAS, Python or equivalent.
• Demonstrated potential for collaboration in biomedical or interdisciplinary research.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
• Ability to manage multiple collaborative projects within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with investigators across FSU Health and College of Medicine on study design, conduct, and interpretation of findings.
• Provide statistical expertise and apply modern statistical and computational methods.
• Contribute to preparing and participating in grant applications, protocols, manuscripts, and presentations.
