Job summary

Genentech, Inc. in South San Francisco, CA, seeks a Biostatistician to join the Biostatistics group within PDD. You will apply statistical methods to design and analyze clinical trials, contribute to SAPs, and support regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics/biostatistics or closely related field.
• 0–2 years of clinical trial statistics experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Familiar with ICH guidelines, GCP, and regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA).
• Strong SAS and/or R skills; familiar with CDISC standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trial design under guidance using standard statistical methods.
• Draft and review protocols, SAPs, and CRFs using templates and precedents.
• Perform or support statistical analyses according to SAPs and escalate issues when needed.
• Represent Biostatistics and PDD at the Study Team level, ensuring rigor of deliverables.
• Collaborate with study team members to meet deliverables and communicate results clearly.
