Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Biostatistician to support biomedical and clinical research initiatives through statistical design, modeling, and analysis. This role is fully remote but requires occasional onsite attendance for meetings in Salt Lake City, UT.

You will design and analyze observational and clinical studies, program analyses in R/SAS/Stata, and present findings to diverse stakeholders while ensuring data quality and compliance with research best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional biostatistical experience.
• Experience designing and analyzing observational and clinical studies.

Location: Remote (Must live within driving distance of Salt Lake City, UT)

Duration: 12-Month Contract with potential extensions up to 3 years

About the Role

Insight Global is seeking a Biostatistician to support biomedical and clinical research initiatives through statistical design, modeling, and analysis. This individual will work closely with researchers, scientists, and technical teams to ensure data integrity, provide actionable insights, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role is fully remote but requires occasional onsite attendance for meetings and project-related activities in Salt Lake City, UT.

• Design and analyze observational and clinical research studies
• Perform statistical modeling, data analysis, and interpretation
• Create statistical reports and summaries to support research initiatives
• Partner with researchers and stakeholders to ensure appropriate study design and methodology
• Program and automate analyses using statistical software such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences
• Support data quality, compliance, and research best practices

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional biostatistical experience
• Experience designing and analyzing observational and clinical studies
• Proficiency with R, SAS, Stata, or similar statistical software
• Strong understanding of study design, statistical methods, and data interpretation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare, biomedical research, or population health experience
• Experience working with real-world evidence and longitudinal datasets
• Experience evaluating synthetic or de-identified datasets
• Familiarity with OMOP and healthcare research standards
• Exposure to machine learning or AI methodologies
