Job description

Maximus is currently hiring for a Biostatician position. The Biostatistician leads the development and operationalization of advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and emerging LLM/NLP capabilities, to enhance mission readiness and the well‑being of SOF personnel. This position designs and implements robust analytical and data engineering solutions by integrating structured and unstructured data sources; building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and curated datasets using SQL Server, Databricks, and Apache Spark (PySpark); and applying strong data quality, performance tuning, and repeatability practices to ensure trusted, mission-ready data products. The role provides expert consultation to translate operational needs into defensible analytical approaches, execute data experiments, and deliver actionable intelligence that supports human performance optimization and strategic decision‑making.

U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must possess an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance as required for contract performance. This position is pending upon contract award.
