Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field with 5+ years in research regulatory/biospecimen roles, or an associate degree with 7+ years in similar work.
• Master's degree and clinical research certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for biospecimen regulatory compliance and governance activities.
• Review protocols, consent forms, agreements, and related documentation for compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain biospecimen governance plans, manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate biospecimen transfers and regulatory activities related to use and distribution.
• Lead biospecimen governance meetings and review committees.
• Monitor and report biospecimen utilization metrics and compliance activities.
• Provide education and training to researchers and staff on governance policies.
• Partner with faculty on biospecimen planning, onboarding, transfers, and related initiatives.
• Utilize project management techniques to support biospecimen projects and processes.
