Job summary

Brown and Caldwell seeks a Biosolids Leader to join our Solids and Energy Practice in Florida. You will guide strategic biosolids projects across pursuits, design and construction, while mentoring team members and expanding our services with local clients.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, strong project management, and active industry involvement to grow the practice in Florida and beyond.

Qualifications

• Advanced environmental engineering knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Ability to solve complex, ambiguous technical problems.
• Strong leadership and communication within technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex analyses and engineering design efforts.
• Prepare and review advanced technical reports and deliverables.
• Develop environmental protection systems and infrastructure for projects.
• Lead development of facility, watershed, or resource management plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and multidisciplinary integration.
• Provide technical leadership during permitting and vendor engagement.
• Adapt to evolving project needs.
