Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to support the West territory (CA, AZ, NM, TX, OK). This field-based role requires strong clinical expertise and ability to translate complex data into clear scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.

Base salary 150,000–165,000 USD with annual bonus target of 14%, fleet vehicle, extensive travel (40–50%), and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific discipline is required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Immunology/Inflammation and/or Oncology.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are mandatory.
• Ability to translate complex clinical information concisely.
• Experience with virtual platforms and electronic shared databases.
• Understanding of US healthcare, reimbursement, and regulatory standards.
• Willingness to travel 40-50% with valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain healthcare professional relationships for scientific exchange.
• Prepare and update educational materials and presentations for external scientific exchange.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for off-label information per guidelines.
• Provide medical/scientific support for publications and trials; collaborate with Global teams.
• Evaluate Investigator Initiated Trials for sponsorship per objectives and policies.
• Provide training to internal personnel.
• Collaborate with Vigilance and Quality & Compliance on adverse events per procedures.
