Repligen Corporation is seeking a Bioprocessing Sales Specialist to focus on Process Analytics in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. You will drive sales, build strategic plans, and expand relationships with biopharma, research institutions, and contract manufacturers.

You will collaborate with marketing, product development, customer service, field application specialists, and technical support to translate cutting-edge PAT technology into real-world manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of sales experience in bioprocessing/biotech, focusing on Process Analytics and PAT.
• Deep knowledge of the bioprocessing and biotech industries, trends, challenges.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and strategic planning.
• Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present technical information.
• Willingness to travel extensively in Mid-Atlantic region.
• Adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for Process Analytics products within Northeast and Eastern Canada Territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including biopharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and contract manufacturing organizations.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and monitor competitors.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, customer service, field application specialists, and technical support.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on advancements in analytical technologies and bioprocessing.
• Produce regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Maintain CRM data in Salesforce and use Tableau/PowerBI for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development: Drive sales and business development activities for Process Analytics Products within the Northeast and Eastern Canada Territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including biopharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and contract manufacturing organizations.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and trends within the bioprocessing industry. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, customer service, field application specialists, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on the latest advancements in analytical technologies and bioprocessing.
• Reporting: Produce regular sales reports and forecasts, offering insights to management on sales performance and market dynamics.
• Sales Rigor and Effectiveness: Maintain sales rigor and effectiveness by managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database i.e., Sales Force and reporting systems efficiently i.e., Tableau, PowerBI. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and analysis to support business decisions and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in the bioprocessing or biotechnology industry, with a focus on Process Analytics Products and PAT.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the bioprocessing and biotechnology industries, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to build long‑term relationships with key accounts.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and customers.
• Problem‑Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical and business‑related problems.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the Mid-Atlantic Region to meet with customers and attend industry events.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $137,000-$195,500. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts.
