Job summary

The National Synthesis Center for Emergence in the Molecular and Cellular Sciences (NCEMS) at Penn State seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar in Biophysics to join on the University Park campus. The successful candidate will conduct independent biophysics research using quantitative and data-driven approaches, collaborating with NCEMS Working Groups to advance shared goals.

This is a one-year, full-time term appointment with potential renewal based on mutual agreement and university need.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biophysics or closely related field required.
• Experience with computational biophysics and data-driven methods.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields.

Responsibilities
