Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Finance Analyst to support corporate accounting and critical business functions for a biopharma company focused on CNS treatments. You will manage close processes, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 4+ years of experience (CPA preferred), and strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and Microsoft 365 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in pharma or life sciences.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental transactions, accruals, journal entries, and monthly close processes.
• Partner with departments for budget planning, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, US GAAP, and internal controls.
• Support audit preparations and financial systems such as Adaptive Insights.
