Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences in Oakdale, MN is seeking a Biopharmaceutical Services Scientist 1 to join our chemistry/biochemistry team. The role involves analysis, method development, and oversight of testing programs for materials, products, and devices, with emphasis on small molecules and biologics early-stage work.

You will design and optimize analytical methods, transfer methods, and ensure SOPs, GLP and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, 2–3 years of experience in related programs.
• Experience with specialized or technical chemistry/biochemistry operations.
• Familiarity with analytical method development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provides complex to specialized analysis using analytical instrumentation per SOPs.
• Reviews testing results, interprets data and communicates findings to management.
• Analyzes complex operations to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Trains others on analytical tests, methods and instrumentation.
• Develops and transfers analytical methods with quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures adherence to SOPs, GLP and GMP standards.
