Job summary

Zoetis in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a Senior Associate Scientist for the Biopharmaceutical Pilot Registration Lab. You will advance CHO-expressed monoclonal antibodies from development to pilot and commercial manufacturing in a GMP setting, leading technology transfer and ensuring high-quality documentation.

The role requires hands-on upstream and/or downstream processing expertise, strong organizational and communication skills, and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in biological sciences, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Significant practical experience and theoretical knowledge of upstream cell culture and/or downstream processing (centrifugation, filtration, chromatography).
• Proven track record in GMP-regulated environments, including process scale-up and tech transfer to commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, operate and troubleshoot large-scale equipment for expression and/or purification of recombinant therapeutic proteins.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to drive process optimization and technology transfer.
• Author and review process documentation, SOPs, and regulatory filings with scientific rigor and quality.
