Job summary

A biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Techno Functional Consultant MES for a one-year contract in Braine l'Alleud, Belgium. This role involves supporting the digitalisation of biomanufacturing processes, including collecting user requirements, testing electronic batch records, and collaborating with IT teams. Candidates must have hands-on experience in regulated environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, with fluency in English and some French. The position allows for two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environments.
• Experience working close to production teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect and write User Requirements URS for MES.
• Translate biomanufacturing process steps into clear functional requirements.
• Test electronic batch records within the MES environment.
• Carry out Performance Qualification PQ activities.
• Work closely with IT and validation teams.
• Gradually take full ownership of assigned MES work packages.
• Occasionally collaborate with OSIsoft PI teams for data integration needs.

Skills

Experience in regulated or GxP environments

Understanding of validation lifecycle

Hands on MES experience

Strong communication and stakeholder management

Able to work independently after onboarding

English required

French at least at understanding level
