Job summary

Abzena, a leading biopharma CDMO, seeks a Supply Chain Planner who will manage MRP signals in IFS, analyze supply-demand, and coordinate with internal teams to meet material readiness and release milestones. You will develop dashboards in PowerBI and collaborate with Sourcing and Procurement to align forecasts and deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Business, or SCM, 5+ years in production planning, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; GMP manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in production planning / supply chain.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP/JDE/Infor/IFS), IFS preferred.
• APICS CSCP or ISM CPSM certification preferred.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical and GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages demand signals in Abzena’s MRP system (IFS).
• Analyzes supply-demand alignment to identify shortages and surpluses; drives corrective actions.
• Owns and maintains all MRP parameters across ERP systems.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet production need-by-dates for material authorization, ordering, delivery, testing, and release of materials.
• Develops PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint reports on material availability and performance.
• Partners with Materials Management to implement inventory and planning strategies (reorder points, Kanban, safety stock, ABC).
• Monitors ERP reservations and communicates material availability; supports schedule changes.
• Forecasts with suppliers and sets delivery schedules with Procurement.
