Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Groton, CT seeks an analytical chemist to provide support across the clinical drug development pipeline, performing HPLC and UV-Vis analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical chemistry support to projects across the clinical drug development pipeline.
• Execute test method protocols for in-vitro biopharmaceutics including solubility, dissolution, precipitation and flux assays.
• Prepare analytical solutions and biorelevant media for in-vitro experiments with accurate weighing and buffer prep.
• Analyze study samples by HPLC and UV-vis, including calibration and quantitation.
• Review dissolution and solubility data to identify anomalous results for follow-up.
• Document findings in electronic lab notebooks and reports per ALCOA data integrity principles.
• Support routine laboratory operations, equipment readiness, and safety.
• Adapt experimental execution to shifting project priorities while maintaining rigor.
