Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and 5 years of related experience OR nine years of relevant training/military experience OR an equivalent combination.
• Experience in biometrics and forensics instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, refiners, updates lesson plans as needed.
• Develops training materials and evaluation tools for biometric and forensics topics.
• Delivers instruction in classroom and scenario settings with hands-on practice.
• Trains on collecting fingerprints, DNA, and forensic photography.
• Guides participants in reporting results verbally and in writing, and through DOJ systems.
• Trains in live capture/scan of fingerprints with biometric devices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
