Job summary

Integrated Health 21 is seeking Exercise Physiology students to join our team at corporate wellness events in the Pittsburgh area. You will assist with biometric screenings, fingerstick blood collection, and basic measurements for employees.

As a PRN, 1099 independent contractor, you will work flexible weekday morning events and daytime shifts, with training provided and a focus on privacy, infection-control, and accurate record-keeping. CPR/BLS must be earned within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates are interested in preventive health, exercise physiology, corporate wellness, or patient-facing healthcare.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with employees in a corporate setting.
• Detail oriented and able to follow established screening protocols.
• Reliable and able to arrive on time for scheduled events.
• CPR/BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming participants and guiding them through the screening process
• Measuring height and weight
• Measuring resting blood pressure
• Performing fingerstick capillary blood collection
• Using Cholestech LDX and CardioChek equipment to measure cholesterol and glucose
• Recording screening results accurately using tablets or paper forms
• Helping participants understand the screening process
• Maintaining participant privacy and confidentiality
• Following infection-control and safety procedures
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown

Integrated Health 21 (IH21) is a Pittsburgh-based provider of worksite wellness screenings and health events. We partner with employers throughout the region and across the country to bring convenient health screenings directly to employees at their workplaces.

We are looking forExercise Physiology students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in corporate wellness, preventive health, and biometric screening. This opportunity is primarily focused on fingerstick testing and basic biometric measurements.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join the IH21 team at corporate wellness events throughout the Pittsburgh area and help conduct employee biometric screenings.

Depending on your training and the needs of the event, responsibilities may include:
