US Wellness, INC in Warrendale, PA is seeking Biometric Screeners to support on-site event screenings. This contract role is PRN, covering client sites across the region, with responsibilities including greeting participants, data entry, and basic health coaching.

You will use fingerstick blood collection with pipetting, manual blood pressure, and waist measurements, while adhering to HIPAA/HITECH and maintaining professional conduct, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working in PRN role (as needed when clients are in your area).
• Proficiency in performing fingerstick blood collection (capillary puncture) with pipetting and Manual blood pressure.
• Well-rounded knowledge in basic health coaching.
• Ability to express key nutrition, exercise, and wellness principles in a supportive environment.
• Strict adherence to HIPAA/HITECH guidelines.
• Focus on quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet wellness patients, register them, and perform data entry of results.
• Assist with screening event setup and tear down, including loading/unloading supplies.
• Support accurate and timely recording of biometric data.

Job Description:

US Wellness is actively recruitingqualified Biometric Screener professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Working as a biometric screener at our events screenings include: the use of theCardioChekPlus cholesterol analyzer (fingerstick and pipetting required), manual blood pressure, body mass index measurements and waist circumference with basic health coaching.Biometric Screeners are responsible for greeting wellness patients, registering patients, and data entry of results collected. Biometric Health Screener will assist with screening event setup and tear down including, but not limited to, loading, and unloading supplies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
• Continually required to talk or hear and use visual acuity to operate specialized equipment, read technical information, and/or use keyboard
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
• Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
