Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Biometric Access Verification in Whitestown, IN. You will manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support employees, visitors, and deliveries in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and a visible security presence to deter incidents while maintaining safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
