Job summary

Staffmark Group in Brooklyn Park, MN is hiring a Biomerics Production Operator. The role pays $20.00 per hour with 1st shift 6:30–3 and 2nd shift 3:30–Midnight, Monday–Friday.

You will produce and inspect products, read procedures, and maintain safe, orderly conditions. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–3 years in medical device manufacturing, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Produce and inspect products at an acceptable quality level.
• Must be able to read and or understand established procedures.
• Maintain orderly and safe working conditions as well as perform all duties in accordance with established procedures and good manufacturing procedures.
• Responsible for the accuracy of Traceability Forms used during the manufacturing of the products.
• Operate specific equipment as assigned by Department Supervisor per accepted work instructions at acceptable efficiency levels.
• Regularly perform minor set-ups and adjustments of equipment to which assigned, when appropriate training has been completed.
• Able to establish good working relationships with all levels of operations.
• Able to cross train co-workers when required.
• Other assignments as requested.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• 0-3 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing of catheter products a plus
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Biomerics Production Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to perform repetitious work
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
