Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group is hiring for a weaving/knitting technician in Cortland, NY. Under supervision, you will perform routine warping, weaving, or knitting operations and support braiding and fabric post-processing.

The role requires hands-on textile manufacturing experience and adherence to ISO13485 GDP standards. The position is in-office at 850 Lime Hollow Rd, Cortland, NY 13045, with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 am–3:30 pm or 7:30 am–4:00 pm; flexible).

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• 3+ years of textile manufacturing experience; weaving, warp knitting, weaving, and/or braiding preferred.
• Experience in ISO13485 manufacturing environment with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Act in a safe manner and promote the Safety Program in all processes and procedures.
• Ensure quality standards and requirements are met in operation of manufacturing equipment, inspection of product and packaging tasks.
• Adhere to all procedures, work instructions and forms while performing tasks.
• Complete tasks efficiently and correctly as directed by supervision and planning personnel.
• Maintain and set up warping, weaving and knitting equipment; ensure materials are available.
• Support braiding and post-processing of fabrics as needed.
• Identify issues and proactively recommend and implement solutions.
• Meet production deadlines and customer satisfaction targets.
• Record inventory and packaging entries accurately.
• Conduct 5S, operator maintenance and housekeeping activities.
