Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of electronics repair, failure analysis, and diagnosis experience.
• Intermediate through-hole soldering skills.
• Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and block diagrams.
• Ability to use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test malfunctioning medical and related equipment, following manufacturer specifications and using test instruments.
• Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, and test medical devices.
• Test and calibrate components and equipment using manuals, troubleshooting techniques, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software.
• Perform delicate work with precision tools and fragile parts.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service per procedures.
