MultiMedical Systems, LLC in Englewood, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, 2+ years of hospital biomedical equipment experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team on a part-time basis in Englewood, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.


What you will do


  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions

  • Order and install replacement parts as needed

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards

  • Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs


Qualifications


  • Associate's degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.

Safety Requirements


  • Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility's policies

  • Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices

  • Ontime completion of safety trainings assignments

  • Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot & cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors

  • Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely
