Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a biomedical equipment technician in Chicago to own uptime, safety, and performance of complex devices. You will diagnose issues, advise clinicians and leadership, and lead projects to elevate team capabilities.

Candidates should have 5+ years in clinical engineering, an associate degree in electronics/technical field (CBET preferred), travel as needed, and a competitive compensation range. Join a culture focused on patient care and continuous growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting (required).
• Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair.
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred); CBET certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $33-$40 for this opportunity. This is the reasonable estimate that TRIMEDX believes it might pay for this particular job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. TRIMEDX may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
