Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to own the repair and calibration of critical clinical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted patient care. You will guide clinicians on proper use and support inventory accuracy, while maintaining compliance and robust documentation.

The role requires at least 3 years in clinical engineering, strong electronics troubleshooting, and a suitable electronics/technical degree; CBET preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
  • Strong technical skills: systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, and error code interpretation.
  • Associate degree in electronics/technical field (or TRIMEDX certification).
  • CBET Certification preferred; valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment to keep care uninterrupted.
  • Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
  • Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use.
  • Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control.
