Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Biomedical Electronics Tech to maintain and repair biomedical equipment across the hospital and ensure safe, reliable operation in daily patient care.

You will participate in QI tracking and safety reporting, support a safety management program, and travel to other Dayton Children's locations as needed to keep critical devices up to date and compliant with hospital standards. Strong collaboration with clinical staff and thorough documentation are expected.

Qualifications

• Maintains and repairs biomedical equipment to keep devices functioning safely.

• Adheres to safety management programs to reduce hazards.

Job Details

The Biomedical Electronics Tech is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and placement of Biomedical equipment within the hospital. The Biomedical Tech participates in various tracking systems for QI and safety reporting and is responsible for complying with a safety management program designed to provide a physical environment free of hazards and to reduce the risk of human injury.

Department Specific Job Details

Education: A.S. or higher in Biomedical Technology OR Military certificate required. Will require traveling to other Dayton Children's locations.
