Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs bench work and troubleshooting of general medical equipment.
• Develops safe troubleshooting/service techniques and safety responsibilities.
• Familiar with test equipment, hand tools, service manuals and online docs.
• Completes 100% Life Support PMs and minimum 95% Non-Life Support PMs monthly.
• Uses computer to access electronic and online service manuals and vendor websites.
• Becomes familiar with the medical equipment database and documenting service activity.

The Biomedical Technician I will provide Biomedical technology support for clinical departments by maintaining therapeutic and diagnostic equipment to insure the availability of technology to the point of care in a safe and professional manner.

Required Education
