Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Biomedical Technician Equipment Support Specialist – Medical Imaging to maintain and repair MRI, CT and Ultrasound systems on-site in Portland, Oregon. You will calibrate, document service, and collaborate with clinicians and engineers.

The role requires an Associate's degree or higher and at least 3 years' experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with medical imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of MRI, CT, and Ultrasound technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work with clinical staff and engineering teams and to comply with FDA/ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of MRI, CT, and Ultrasound equipment.
• Document service performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
• Work with healthcare professionals to assess equipment performance and reliability.
• Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance for medical imaging systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing equipment management programs.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in biomedical engineering.

• Salary Range: $70,000 to 85,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including education, experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable contract requirements.
