Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics / biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License issued in the state of residence.
• Successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water systems.
• Maintains the physical plant and ensures vendor services meet contracts.
• Purchases and retains service parts inventory.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and actions required.
• Conducts trend analysis on water system performance and documents repairs.
• Assists in planning and installing biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Transports equipment as needed and participates in monthly meetings.
• Collaborates with staff to meet regulatory and OSHA requirements.
• Manages inventory and coordinates deliveries between clinics.
• Verifies testing procedures for water systems and documents results.
• Completes all required training programs and provides after-hour on-call coverage.
