Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Biomedical Technician to oversee maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of water treatment, dialysis and medical systems in a clinical setting, ensuring patient and staff safety.

You will perform troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance, document records, assist with inventory, and support safety and QAPI activities in collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Preferred dialysis/hospital/medical setting experience.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors, work under stress, and communicate effectively.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, calibration, testing, cleaning, and disinfection of dialysis machines and water systems.
• Conduct water quality and safety checks, collect microbiology and AAMI samples, and follow disinfection protocols.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and accurate equipment records.
• Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and procurement activities.
• Ensure safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and emergency preparedness are followed.
• Collaborate with staff and management, provide technical training, and support QAPI meetings.
