Job summary

Agiliti, a national leader in medical equipment management, seeks a Biomedical Technician I to service hospital equipment at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations and repairs, and document all work for billing and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an associate degree in electronics or related field, willingness to travel, and flexibility for evenings or weekend shifts as needed. Daily pay and comprehensive benefits are included at Agiliti in Minneapolis, MN.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology.
• Equivalent military training or CBET qualifies for the role.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Physical stamina to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

The Biomedical Equipment Technician I conducts cost-effective maintenance on company and customer‑owned medical equipment primarily located at customer sites, to ensure they are functioning properly and meet customers’ needs. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
