Independence Health System seeks a Biomedical Engineer to perform comprehensive maintenance and repair of medical equipment across Greensburg area facilities. Responsibilities include inspection, calibration, preventive maintenance and documentation for defibrillators, monitors, infusion pumps, and more.
Strong problem-solving and effective communication with clinicians are essential. Requires an associate degree or equivalent; travel between System locations may be required.
Repair other electronic/electrical hospital equipment which includes the following: Nurse Call systems (remove Intercom and Paging)
Knowledge of computer networking for medical device integration to the Independence Health EMR network is encouraged (but not required).
