Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Biomed II Tech for an onsite role at Barnes Jewish Hospital. The candidate should have 2-5 years biomedical experience and be skilled in maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of medical instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Biomed Engineering Technology preferred.
• 2-5 years of biomedical experience required; 5-10 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and performance assurance testing.
• Repair and calibrate biomedical equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Provide in-service education and support to staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Troubleshoot to identify problems, compare options and implement solutions.
