Job summary

A healthcare facility in Mobile, Alabama is looking for a Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure the maintenance and safe operation of medical devices. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred qualifications in Biomedical Technology and a minimum of 2 years' experience in repairing hospital equipment. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting and maintaining various biomedical systems to ensure effective performance and quality control protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all types of highly technical electronic biomedical equipment.
• Ensure the safe operation and effective performance of equipment by conducting approved programs for quality control and maintenance.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate from a Biomedical Electronics program or equivalent

Associated Degree in Biomedical Technology (preferred)
