Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Biomedical Electronics or Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Valid and current Michigan driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of equipment.
• Ensure inspection procedures for safety, performance and PMs.
• Perform pre-acceptance inspection of equipment prior to initial use.
• Maintain routine inspection schedules and service histories.
• Serve as liaison between Clinical Engineering and equipment users.
• Perform pre-purchase evaluations to ensure equipment meets requirements.
• Stay current on standards and regulations for medical equipment.
