Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a BMET III for UTMB Angleton/Danbury Hospital to support the HTM program across OR, ICU, Med/Surg, Ed, and off-site clinics. This 60-bed facility seeks an experienced biomedical equipment technician who can perform repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance to ensure patient care equipment operates safely and reliably.

You will work with clinical staff, document service activities, mentor team members, and help drive continuous improvement while adhering to regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment to ensure reliable patient care.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain compliance.
• Uphold regulatory standards and promote a safety-first environment, supporting audits and remediation efforts.
• Maintain accurate service records, analyze data trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve technical issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance technical skills and overall service quality.
