Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC seeks a Biomedical Engineering Technician II to perform maintenance on patient care devices, under supervision. You will support HTM program delivery, vendor relations and KPI achievement while maintaining device compliance.

The role requires electronics/biomedical tech training with CMMS experience and a focus on safety and patient care, with opportunities for growth and certification support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or healthcare tech field required or completion of a healthcare technology program.
• 2–3 years of healthcare technology experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical device regulations and CMMS systems.
• Professional certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, repairs, inspections and preventive maintenance on patient care devices.
• Support facility leadership to manage the HTM program and KPI delivery.
• Develop and sustain vendor and coworker relationships, and support capital planning.
• Create CMMS reports and respond to device-related communications.
