Goldbelt Frontier, LLC in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets, carry out inspections, calibrations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, and document results in official records and systems such as DMLSS/SAMS-E/TEWLS.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years BMET experience, completion of the DoD Medical Equipment Repairers Course or CBET or an AAS in Medical Equipment Technology, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• : Knowledge of schematics and works under supervision on repairs, safety testing, and preventive maintenance (PM).
• : Has advanced knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and types of equipment.
• : Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.

Responsabilités

• Maintains records, writes reports, and coordinates outside repairs.
• Inspects, repairs, calibrates, and overhauls medical equipment.
• Uses Army/DoD maintenance systems (DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS) for documentation and tracking.
• Travels up to 15% as required.

Summary:

The Biomedical Equipment Technician II will perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets to include all maintenance actions.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains records, writes reports, and coordinates outside repairs.
• Complete technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned medical equipment. Complete repair of damaged medical equipment.
• Complete overhaul of medical equipment. Use authorized Army Automation Systems, which include, but are not limited to, the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E), Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS) and other systems that are specifically authorized by the USAMMA M3D.
• Possess the training and abilities to technically inspect, repair, calibrate, and overhaul medical equipment.
• Perform calibration and PMCS.
• Travel Requirement estimated 15%.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of schematics and works under relatively close supervision on repairs, safety testing, and preventive maintenance (PM)
• Has advanced knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and types of equipment
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) or more years of experience as a BMET As a minimum, BMET's shall be a graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
• A background check will be conducted.
• Possess the ability to pass a NACI background investigation and acquire a CAC.
• Possess the ability to pass an NCIC investigation and scored credit check per federal and contractual requirements.
• Must be a US citizen.

• Experience with the Department of Defense
