Summary:

Under direct supervision, understands and provides technical knowledge and the ability to test, repair and maintain lower end/complex medical devices. Equipment also includes electronic test equipment and various types of medical equipment. Testing will be done in our facility and will involve staff interaction. Supports and maintains MHS safe Environment of Care.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains lower end/complex biomedical equipment by adjusting, calibrating, testing and documenting performance.Conducts testing; ensuring compliance to codes; following manufacturer's instructions, documenting test results.
  • Performs troubleshooting and repair, calling for special service when needed.
  • Maintains biomedical equipment supplies inventory and equipment sterilization, anticipating needs; managing orders.
