The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) provides technical support to ensure medical equipment remains safe, serviceable, and mission‑ready through preventive maintenance tracking, equipment certification, and system documentation.
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
Estimated Starting Salary Range for BMET: Pay commensurate with experience.

Supports biomedical equipment readiness by coordinating calibration and maintenance of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Schedules and tracks pick‑up/drop‑off with hand receipt holders and TMDE service centers, forecasts calibration requirements in DMLSS or other approved systems, and maintains accurate equipment records. Communicates equipment status, resolves routine process issues, and supports technical reporting for equipment maintenance activities.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining medical equipment.
BMET training, certification, or equivalent.
Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
