Job summary

CareTechPros in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Biomedical Technician to perform repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide range of complex biomedical equipment under limited supervision.

You will improve patient care by ensuring equipment safety and reliability, provide technical guidance to clinical staff, maintain accurate maintenance records, and stay compliant with hospital policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in biomedical field
• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of biomedical equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to meet clinical standards
• Provide technical assistance to healthcare staff on equipment use and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and hospital policies
