Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a BMET I to maintain and repair biomedical equipment across the enterprise. This entry-level role supports clinical staff, coordinates training, and improves equipment proficiency.

You will diagnose, install/upgrade, and service devices, document work, and communicate with vendors, IT, facilities, and clinical teams to ensure uptime and safety. Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR interfaces is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must have foundational biomedical equipment knowledge and be able to learn multiple device types.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and clinical workflow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in equipment issues and documents operator errors.
• Performs diagnosis, installation/upgrade, and service on assigned systems.
• Coordinates information between vendors, IT, facilities, and clinical teams.
• Provides training for biomedical staff and clinical staff.
