Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Savannah, GA seeks a Biomedical Technician I to perform maintenance and repair of dialysis and water treatment equipment, and to support the facility's regulatory compliance program.

The role requires basic technician training, strong attention to safety, and ability to work under supervision with occasional on-call shifts. Experience with clinical equipment and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Biomedical Technician curriculum completed; practicum preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor in electronics/biomedical technology a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Industry certifications (BONENT/CHT/NNCO/CBNT/CBET/WQA/AAMI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of water treatment, dialysis and ancillary equipment.
• Conduct tests, collect samples and report quality results per procedures.
• Oversee inventory, parts, warranties and vendor activities.
• Document all maintenance and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide mentorship and participate in training programs.
