Biomedical Equipment Tech

Repair, calibrate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of complex medical instruments. Perform duties including repair service, performance inspection, and customer support in the management of clinical technology. May operate University Vehicle on/off campus when making site visits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related or specialized field and one to two years' related experience.
• Certification as Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or ability to obtain required.
• A valid driver's license or ability to obtain a driver's check may be required.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician.

Anticipated Pay Range

$24-$32 per hour

Special Conditions

• Non-standard work hours required.
• Probationary period may be required.
• Occasional evening and/or weekends required (may result in overtime).
• Travel to and from worksites required.
• This position is ineligible for telework due to essential functions.
• Background Check required.
• Post-offer pre-employment (POPE test) physical examination required.
