Job summary

A global leader in applied safety science is seeking an Engineer within their Consumer Medical Products division. In this hybrid role, you will manage engineering safety investigations for medical products and devices, ensuring compliance with UL safety standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable in laboratory environments. You will prepare test reports, develop testing programs, and interact with clients, all while driving innovations in safety science.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of IEC 60601-1 or IEC 61010-1 preferred.
• Shows initiative and resourcefulness.
• Desire to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering safety investigations.
• Analyze project scope and develop testing programs.
• Communicate technical issues and requirements to clients.
• Examine samples for compliance with UL safety standards.
