Job summary

EMSAR is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Engineer I to provide field service and hands-on maintenance for medical equipment in Albany, GA. The engineer acts as a trusted technical expert and primary contact with customers, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair while documenting activities accurately.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent training, 3+ years of repair experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or completion of DoD Biomedical Equipment Repair School, or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to support electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment modalities independently per procedures.
• Read prints and schematics; calibrate and repair to specifications.
• Prepare service reports, time sheets, and other required documentation.
• Travel occasionally to support nationwide service needs.
