Edwards Lifesciences offers an Engineering Intern opportunity to work on challenging projects across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing. You will conceptualize, develop, and test designs, document findings, and participate in design reviews, contributing to meaningful patient solutions while gaining hands-on experience.

California and Utah placements may occur based on business needs. Current students in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, with strong GPA and a non-visa sponsorship requirement,

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited university for the duration of the Internship with graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Ability to work full-time for May/June 2027 – Aug 2027.
• Comfortable in a lab environment and hands-on, motivated, able to follow procedures and clearly convey data results.
• Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience.
• Good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA).
• Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

Aufgaben

• Work on challenging projects in multiple business units and functions (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and more).
• Conceptualize, develop, and iteratively design in response to requirements.
• Test new designs (functional, mechanical, simulated use) and brainstorm device improvements from results.
• Document production concerns and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Provide documentation support and written reports on testing and designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to teammates.
