Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or CCE certification.
• Minimum three years of hospital/healthcare equipment experience.
• Knowledge of medical system concepts, networking protocols, and information security in healthcare.
• Ability to manage a compliant Medical Equipment Management Program and advise on safety and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication with technical and clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Information Gathering – Collect technical and clinical details, system inventories, confirm POCs, and support gap analysis.
• Specification Development – Define and validate system requirements, compliance, and functionality with stakeholders.
• Technical Analysis – Evaluate equipment and systems based on performance, integration, usability, and cost.
• Risk Assessment – Assess safety, security, reliability, and connectivity, and support ERA submissions.
