Qualifications

• Department may hire Biomedical Engineer at level I with 2 years of related experience or a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop unmet needs/voice of the customer requirements and design inputs.
• Ideate and develop concepts for biomedical devices and systems.
• Create designs/specifications/test methods/processes/manufacturing methods.
• Develop test protocols and perform benchtop, in vitro, and in vivo testing with documentation.
• Apply analytic methods to evaluate concepts and designs; maintain design documentation.
• Conduct risk analyses per ISO 14971 and assist in regulatory submissions.
